'The True Adventures Of Wolfboy' Trailer: Jaeden Martell Stars In This Feel-Good, Coming-Of-Age Journey

Being a teen is already difficult enough, as it is. You have to deal with issues with your parents (they just never understand), as well as potential first loves, bullies, and the inner exploration of what type of person you want to be. If you add an illness that makes you grow hair over every inch of your body, including your face, the problems just compound. That’s the problem facing Paul in “The True Adventures of Wolfboy.”

As seen in the trailer, ‘Wolfboy’ tells the story of a young teen, Paul, who was born with the illness known as congenital hypertrichosis, aka he grows hair on his face and looks like the sideshow attraction the title references. On his 13th birthday, young Paul is given a map that shows him a place that may have more answers about where he comes from and why he looks how he looks. Thus, Paul ventures off and meets a number of new faces, all forcing him to come to terms with his appearance and not hide in the shadows.

The drama stars Jaeden Martell, Chris Messina, Eve Hewson, Michelle Wilson, Stephan McKinley Henderson, Sophie Giannamore, Chloë Sevigny, and John Turturro. ‘Wolfboy’ is directed by Martin Krejcí. The film marks his feature film debut behind the camera.
