Whether or not you subscribe to the law of diminishing returns, when Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore share the screen together — as they did in “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates” — audiences come out and Warner Bros. hopes that the third time’s the charm with the actors’ next outing, “Blended,” hitting theaters in May. To keep awareness up, the studio has released another trailer for the comedy.
Running two and a half minutes long, and isn’t much different from the assault on good taste that the first trailer was. “Blended” follows Sandler and Barrymore as single parents who, after a disastrous blind date, both accidentally end up at the same African safari resort with their kids. Can the two get over their differences? Will the families get along? Will there be a heartwarming resolution? You’ll have to see for yourself (if you dare) when “Blended” opens on May 23rd.
