Watch: New Clip And Featurette With Steven Spielberg For ‘Jurassic World’

Jurassic WorldRoughly two weeks sits between us and the fourth trip to a world where a dinosaur theme park still seems like a good idea, even after multiple attacks and deaths at the jaws of the once-extinct creatures. “Jurassic World” is projected to have an opening weekend of at least $100 million, due in no small part to the all-out marketing blitz Universal has thrown. Despite that amazing pre-release tracking, the studio is not letting up on the gas pedal of the marketing machine, so there’s now a new featurette, clip, TV spot, and poster.

First up, is a featurette that includes the beard himself, Steven Spielberg reminding you that he’s still tangentially involved in this new sequel/reboot. Cast and crew alike talk about how respectful they wanted to be to Spielberg’s first crack at the dinosaurs, “Jurassic Park.” After that, you can check out some raptors in a clip from the film.

Next up, via ComicBookMovie, is a new poster featuring Chris Pratt running away from the villainous, genetically modified dinosaur of the film while looking surprisingly blasé about the whole thing. The site has another TV spot from the Colin Trevorrow-directed film, and it shines a spotlight on Pratt’s roguish character, especially on the fact that he’s the alpha of his very own pack of velociraptors .

“Jurassic World” will be open for guests on June 12th. See the new international poster and watch the featurette and TV spot below.
