Only one movie this year will feature boob guns, and an iPhone with a knife in it and yes, that movie is “Machete Kills.” The sequel to Robert Rodriguez‘s bawdy, grindhouse goof “Machete” hits theaters this fall, and while it won’t win Oscars, that’s cool because Machete don’t do awards season.
The plot, such as it is, finds Machete recruited by the President (played by Carlos Estevez, with jokes about his womanizing still apparently hilarious) to stop an evil madman (Mel Gibson, still trying to make a comeback) from launching a missile. And along the way he runs into a bevy of beauties—Lady Gaga (really), Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez (fish tacos) and Sofia Vergara (deadly breasts)—along the way. Pretty much this looks like exactly what you might have been expecting, for better or worse.
