Keanu Reeves Helps Out ‘Swedish Dicks’ In New Trailer

The avalanche of content that has landed in the Peak TV era, has meant there’s been no shortage of streaming services to use. While we all know the big players like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu there are just as many companies serving niche corners of the market, or corporate upstarts like Pop, backed by CBS-Lionsgate, who will be hosting the first season of the upcoming “Swedish Dicks.” And part of the lure of the new show is the appearance of none other than Keanu Reeves, albeit in a supporting role.

Peter Stormare and Johan Glans take the lead roles in this series, that rolls with the simple premise of Swedish private detectives trying to succeed in Los Angeles, but course, bumbling along the way. But lending a bit of guidance and comedy is Reeves, who drops the show from time to time, in what looks like a fun little part. Overall, however, the show feels overly broad, and we’ll have to be convinced to sign up for yet another new service, to watch yet another new show.
