Got a Tip?

‘Riders Of Justice’ Teaser: Mads Mikkelsen Is Breaking Necks In Anders Thomas Jensen’s Newest Film

Around these parts, we are big fans of actor Mads Mikkelsen. Whether he’s playing the best Hannibal Lecter (no shade aimed at Anthony Hopkins but Mikkelsen is next-level great in “Hannibal”) or starring in an offbeat dramedy such as the recent “Another Round,” the actor is regularly showing why he’s one of the most interesting and talented performers around the world. And that’s what makes us most excited to see what he does in the upcoming film “Riders of Justice.”

Sure, the teaser trailer and first three-minute clip for “Riders of Justice” are both in Danish without subtitles, but they’re still pretty damn entertaining for an American like myself. In the film, Mikkelsen plays a military veteran that returns to take care of his daughter after his wife dies in a tragic train accident. But when he returns, he meets up with a survivor of the accident and discovers that maybe there’s more to the accident than what the public was told. He then joins up with a group of guys to enact his revenge.

And as seen in the clip, revenge can get pretty brutal, especially for the other men that don’t have military training. With his buzzed hair and bushy beard, Mikkelsen looks exactly like the type of man that will shrug off being threatened with a gun and then proceed to break your neck for daring to point it at him.

“Riders of Justice” is the latest collaboration between Mikkelsen and director Anders Thomas Jensen. Previously, the two men worked together on the 2015 feature, “Men & Chicken.” Jensen is also one of the several writers attributed to the script for “The Dark Tower” from 2017.

It’s unclear when “Riders of Justice” will be released outside of Denmark, but you can take a look at the new trailer and clip below:
