“The Umbrella Academy” is a superhero show with something to say. It’s not just another Marvel-esque romp, though there are plenty of jokes. Instead, “Umbrella Academy” is a more stylish, smart look at what it’s like to have superpowers. Questions about identity, family, and much more are routinely discussed. But now, it’s coming to an end.
As seen in the new trailer for “Umbrella Academy” Season 4, the end of the show is nigh. Picking up directly after the events of Season 3, the siblings don’t have their powers anymore and they have to, yet again, find a way to save the world.
“[It’s] really, really packed with classic ‘Umbrella Academy’ family nonsense and shenanigans that you look forward to,” teased Emmy Raver-Lampman. “There’s some unbelievable new characters and villains that are super exciting.”
