'Beef' Trailer: Steven Yeun & Ali Wong Are Two People Out For Revenge In Netflix's New Series

Road rage is a scary thing. You never know what type of day another person is having, so the idea of someone just snapping at you is very real, especially when you’re in a car. But what happens when two people are having shitty days and they get involved in a road rage incident against each other? That’s the question at the heart of “Beef.”

As seen in the trailer for the new Netflix series, “Beef” tells the story of two disparate people who come together after they get almost get involved in an accident with each other. What starts as a simple misunderstanding and a close call turns into a serious vendetta, as these two people make it their goal to ruin the life of the other person. Somehow, hilarity ensues.

The series stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, as the two people with, uh, beef. Lee Sung Jin, who is known for series such as “Dave” and “Silicon Valley,” is the creator of the show. Interestingly, “Beef” is (mostly) directed by Jake Schreier, who recently was brought on to direct “Thunderbolts.” That Marvel Studios film also brought in Steven Yeun to play a major role, which you have to assume stems from the time Schreier and he worked together in this show.

“Beef” debuts on Netflix on April 6. You can watch the trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis:

BEEF follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.
