Hey kids, sometimes wishes do some true. Of the 20 Films We Hope To See At The 2015 Cannes Film Festival, one we were very, very happy to see land in the official lineup is Joachim Trier‘s "Louder Than Bombs." The under-appreciated director behind "Reprise" and "Oslo, August 31" hits the Competition slate with his latest, and the first images have arrived.
Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Isabelle Huppert and Gabriel Bryne, the Eskil Vogt-scripted drama has been described as being “Rashomon”-esque, revolving around a late war photographer played by Huppert, whose husband and two sons discover a secret about her past as a retrospective of her work is being put together.
So yeah, we’re on board, and this is high up on our list of must-see flicks at Cannes. Pics below.
