Aldis Hodge feels like a guy who is on the verge of truly breaking out in the mainstream. He’s appeared in high profile projects such as “Black Adam,” “The Invisible Man,” and “Hidden Figures.” Yet, he’s still not a household name. That might change with his new Prime Video series, “Cross.”

As seen in the trailer, “Cross” is based on the best-selling novels by James Patterson and tells the story of a detective who also happens to be a forensic psychologist. By getting in the mind of the bad guys, he’s able to crack cases that no one else can. But he’s not perfect, and he has tragedy in his backstory. You know, the things that make a TV show a little more interesting.
The series stars Aldis Hodge, Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. “Cross” is created and showrun by Ben Watkins. The showrunner is best known for previous TV work on shows such as “Burn Notice,” “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” and “Truth Be Told.”
“Cross” is set to debut on Prime Video on November 14. You can watch the trailer below.
