Bad news for fans of the Marvel comic character Thor and fans of Daniel Craig. The British Bond-man won’t be playing the Marvel Norse god and sometime-‘Avengers’ member.
Wait, he was in contention? According to IESB, he was. Or at least he was offered the role, but Craig turned it down (maybe one franchise is enough, huh?).
That’s about it. There’s no real quotes to pull. But the search for Thor evidently continues. Kenneth Branagh is still attached to direct, but nothing’s official yet. [IESB/via Slash]
