Directed by John Cameron Mitchell, based on the short story by Neil Gaiman, and co-starring Nicole Kidman, Ruth Wilson, and Alex Sharp, the film is a “punk alien love story.” Here’s the synopsis from Cannes:

A story about the birth of punk, the exuberance of first love, and the universe’s greatest mystery of all: how to talk to girls at parties.

Stayed tuned for our thoughts on the Croisette. A24 will release in the film in the U.S.
