Exclusive: Poster For 'Nobody Walks' Starring Olivia Thirlby & John Krasinski

nullWith a script co-written by the quickly rising Lena Dunham, directed by Ry Russo-Young ("You Won’t Miss Me") and featuring a pretty great cast including Olivia Thirlby, John Krasinski, Rosemarie DeWitt and Justin Kirk, there are a lot of reasons for the low key indie "Nobody Walks" to land on your radar.

Premiering in January at the Sundance Film Festival, and making its way in subsequent months to the San Francisco Interntional Film Festival and BAMcinemaFest, the film follows Martine, a 23-year-old artist from New York City, who stays in the pool house of a Los Angeles family to complete work on her art film. But the characters' worlds are quickly upheaved as lust, desire and deception come creeping into the seemingly idyllic setting. All this to say, the film is one that has certainly burrowed into the memory of the Playlist folks who have seen it. Our review from Park City declared "Nobody Walks "an emotionally complex, acutely observed and sensual film," and subsequent interviews and Q&A sessions with Russo-Young and Dunham have also provided additional interesting insight to the film.

Even beyond its actors, the picture's well of talent runs deep, featuring an excellent score by LCD Soundsystem offshoots Fall On Your Sword and some really wonderfully naturalistic cinematography from Christopher Blauvelt, a pupil of Harris Savides (known for working with David Fincher, Gus Van Sant and Noah Baumbach). Blauvelt also shot "Meek's Cutoff" and is one to keep an eye on.

"Nobody Walks" premieres on VOD September 6th and opens in theaters October 12th. Check out our exclusive poster for the film below with some quotes courtesy of your neighborhood friendly Playlist.
