With a rumored supersized runtime, and a cast that seems to get bigger with each film (Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren join the crew this time around), there is nothing small about “The Fate Of The Furious,” but should there be? The franchise is massive, and gives the fans what they want: big, dumb action.
And there’s a good bunch of that in the new trailer for the movie, one that sees Vin Diesel turn on the family (gasp!), and it requires much flexing of muscles and cars jumping off of things to set things right. Here’s the official synopsis:
Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.
