Harry Styles & Emma Corrin To Star In New Amazon Film 'My Policeman'

Emma Corrin is having a real moment. After breaking out in a big way thanks to her role as Diana Spencer on “The Crown,” which has already earned her acclaim and awards nominations, it appears that the young actress is ready to appear opposite one of the biggest pop stars in a new drama for Amazon, titled “My Policeman.”

According to Deadline, Corrin is set to star opposite Harry Styles in the new Amazon drama feature, “My Policeman.” The film is written by Ron Nyswaner and helmed by award-winning director, Michael Grandage. “My Policeman” tells the story of an elderly man, Patrick, that visits the home of Marion and Tom. Patrick’s arrival reignites memories from 40 years previous where he and Tom had a love affair during a time when that was not accepted. Styles is expected to play Tom, while Corrin will play Marion.

As mentioned, Corrin is probably best known for her role in “The Crown.” Just this week, that role earned the actress SAG Award and Golden Globe nominations. In addition to her role in the award-winning Netflix drama series, she’s also recently appeared in the TV series, “Pennyworth,” and the 2020 film “Misbehaviour.”

Styles, on the other hand, is one of the most famous young musical performers on the planet. His music career has made him a worldwide sensation, but recently, he’s also made attempts to break into acting. His biggest role to date is in Christopher Nolan’sDunkirk.” However, he’s also currently in production on the new Olivia Wilde film, “Don’t Worry Darling.” So, it appears that Styles is on the cusp of film domination to go along with his massive music career.

It’s unclear when “My Policeman” will arrive in theaters and/or streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
