"It Happened Again": New TV Spots For 'The Hangover Part II' Bring Back The Wolfpack

While the terrible first trailer for “The Hangover Part II” underlined in thick black Sharpie how similar the premise was for the sequel to the original — to the point of making it seem like a half-baked, cash-in knock-off — how weird is it that the TV spots are beginning to restore our faith a bit?

Well, they are and the four brief small screen adverts that have hit the web made us laugh more than the entire two-and-a-half minute trailer. Instead of seeming like simply a Thai transplanted “The Hangover” (okay, maybe it does still sort of feel like that) there are pretty decent laughs, most from Ed Helms who places great gravity on orange juice and Zach Galifianakis who can make the words “Raleigh-Durham” hilarious.

So while we’re not totally turned around yet, we’re beginning to soften up a bit. “The Hangover Part II” hits on May 26th, check out the spots below. [via ScreenRant]
