Jake Gyllenhaal & Ryan Reynolds Find 'Life' In Outer Space In 2 New Trailers

For those looking for big screen adventure that’s in the stars above? There is plenty coming your way in the months ahead. Aliens make contact in the forthcoming “Arrival,” Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt get romantic in “Passengers,” and of course, there’s a little movie called “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” And next year, “Life” will see a single celled organism wreak galactic havoc.

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, Hiroyuki Sanada and Ryan Reynolds, penned by “Deadpool” writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and directed by Daniel Espinosa (“Safe House“), the movie follows the crew on the International Space Station who discover life on Mars, with some pretty deadly consequences. Here’s the official synopsis:

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
