‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ Trailer: Series Starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer & Nick Offerman Premieres On Apple TV This April

Prolific TV producer David E. Kelly already has one hit on Apple TV with “Presumed Innocent.” Will “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” be a second? The new teaser for the series hints that this may be the case, especially with Elle Fanning leading quite an intriguing ensemble cast.

Based on Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name, the new Apple TV series follows Fanning as a recent college dropout and aspiring writer who must lean on her waitress mom and former pro-wrestler dad as she deals with pregnancy, bills, and the harsh realities of growing up. Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman co-star.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is a bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.

Along with Fanning, Pfeiffer, and Offerman, “Margo’s Got Money Trouble” also stars Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington.

Kelley serves as showrunner and writer on the new Apple TV series. He also executive produces the series alongside Fanning, Dakota Fanning, and Brittany Kahan Ward via Lewellen Pictures. Other executive producers on the show include Nicole Kidman and Per Saari via Blossom Films, Matthew Tinker via David E. Kelley Productions, Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson, and Boo Killebrew. Director Dearblha Walsh, who helms the show’s pilot, also executive produces. “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is produced by A24.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” premieres on Apple TV on April 15 with three episodes, followed by new episodes every week through May 20. Watch the trailer for the new series below.
