Luke Cage is already woven into the fabric of Netflix‘s small screen Marvel world. He played a significant role in the first season of “Jessica Jones,” but he’s long been primed for his own series, and it’s coming soon. But can the character and actor Mike Colter hold their own in the spotlight? We’ll soon find out, but so far, the presence of Luke Cage has already been impressive.

The upcoming series looks be following the events of “Jessica Jones,” with the hero packing his bags, moving to Harlem and putting his old girlfriend behind him. But of course, trouble eventually comes knocking. And given that Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are quite intertwined, it’ll be interesting to see what other narrative paths the showrunners and writers decide to take, and if Krysten Ritter will be dropping by.
