'Peter Rabbit 2' Trailer: James Corden Returns As The Troublesome Bunny This June

One of the odd experiences that have arisen from the pandemic delaying every major film for over a year is when a film gets a brand-new trailer more than a year and a half after the first trailer. Inevitably, this makes you wonder, “Didn’t that film already get released?” That’s the case with “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway,” a film that I swear was already in theaters but apparently isn’t actually getting released until June.

As seen in the latest trailer for ‘Peter Rabbit 2,’ the film is still exactly what you think it is. If you were a fan of James Corden’s work as the voice of the CG bunny in the original, then you’re going to love what you see here. There’s more Peter just getting involved in all sorts of hijinks that irritates his human friends, played by Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson.

Joining Corden in the cast as the voices of various animals are Margot Robbie, David Oyelowo, and Elizabeth Debicki. “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway” is directed by Will Gluck, who also co-wrote the film alongside Patrick Burleigh. Gluck is also the co-writer and director of the original “Peter Rabbit” film from 2018, as well as features such as “Annie,” “Friends with Benefits,” and “Easy A.”
