Reality Is Turned Upside Down In New Trailer For HBO's 'Westworld'

Game Of Thrones” is headed toward the end, which means HBO will likely be hoping that at least one of their upcoming, high concept shows can fill the slot of pop culture obsessed, must-watch programming on their slate. And “Westworld” has the goods on paper. Featuring an all-star ensemble and a terrific premise, it doesn’t look like a penny has been spared to bring the sci-fi/western mashup to life.

Ordered to series two years ago, and hitting a slight bump in the road when production was paused so the creative team could work out the kinks and get back on track, the show brings together Anthony HopkinsEd Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins Jr. for the tale of a futuristic theme park where almost any desire can be fulfilled, and how that collides with the artificial intelligence that powers it.
