‘Shadow And Bone’ S2 Trailer: Netflix’s Mythical Fantasy YA Series Returns March 16

Fans craving more from the original Netflix sci-fi fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” are in for a treat; Netflix is finally revealing the trailer for season two. For those unaware, “Shadow and Bone” is a live-action series based on the books by Leigh Bardugo, where a young soldier Alina, knows she may not survive her first trek across the Shadow Fold – a swath of unnatural darkness crawling with monsters– unleashes a dormant magic she never knew she possessed.

The first season premiered on Netflix back in 2021 and featured Ben Barnes, Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, and Kit Young.

Co-Showrunners, executive producers, and writers on the series include Eric Heisserer (“Chronology”) and Daegan Fryklind. Heisserer has previously worked on “Birdbox” and “The Nightmare on Elmstreet” reboot.

Much of the same cast returns, but there are additions. Jessie Mei Li (Alina Starkov), Archie Renaux (Malyen Oretsev), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Amita Suman (Inej Ghafa), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), Danielle Galligan (Nina Zenik), Daisy Head (Genya Safin), Calahan Skogman (Matthias Helvar), Lewis Tan (Tolya Yul-Bataar), Anna Leong Brophy (Tamar Kir-Bataar), Jack Wolfe (Wylan Hendriks), Patrick Gibson (Nikolai Lantsov) and Ben Barnes (General Kirigan).

Back in Ketterdam, a chance at a deadly heist sends the Crows once again on a collision course with the legendary Sun Summoner. Shadow and Bone Season 2 premieres March 16, 2023, only on Netflix.
