It’s not looking like a good day for the reporting out of IESB today. First off, their initial report that Gary Oldman has joined the cast of “Iron Man 2” was proven false.
And now their report that Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City 2” is not in the hands of Dimension Films/ The Weinsteins has also turned out to be incorrect.
The Weinstein Co. attorney Bert Fields flatly denies the claim that TWC lost its rights to Sin City 2:
“TWC’s rights to produce sequels to Sin City remain intact as they always have been. Any suggestion to the contrary is complete hogwash.”
There you go, you know who is going on the reporting shitlist. Two stories in two days is not a good look, so reader beware of news from that outlet.
