An official synopsis for Season 2, via the fine folks over at Sky:

“Sweetpea,” the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller, is making a killer comeback. Season 2 sees wallflower-turned-killer Rhiannon Lewis (Purnell) navigate a new promotion, an irresistible rebound, and a copycat killer threatening to expose her. The kill list is mounting, and she is forced to question whether her perfect ex, AJ, was right: is she a monster?

The Sky/Starz series is adapted from C.J. Skuse’s novel and is produced by See-Saw Films and fanboy in association with Sky Studios. Executive Producer at fanboy is Patrick Walters (“Heartstopper”), and the executive producers repping for See-Saw Films are Helen Gregory, Iain Canning, and Emile Sherman. Ella Jones and Purnell also serve as fellow exec Producers, alongside creator Kirstie Swain, with Selina Lim (lead writer), Emme Hoy, Simon Gillis and Natasha Heliotis are co-executive producers.
