Apple TV+ has made it abundantly clear that it is really only interested in original films and TV series that have superstar talent attached. That would include the newest series, “The Changeling,” which has just received the green light from the streaming service.

According to Deadline, Apple TV+ is ready to move ahead with a new series, “The Changeling,” which will be directed by Melina Matsoukas and will star LaKeith Stanfield. Based on the novel of the same name from author Victor LaValle, “The Changeling” tells the story of a bookseller (Stanfield) that is coming to terms with his role as a struggling business owner, loving husband, and new father. However, after a personal tragedy, he gets thrust into a deeply emotional journey through a version of New York City you didn’t know exists.
