As seen in the new trailer for “The Human Voice,” the short is the English-langue debut for Almodóvar and stars Tilda Swinton as a woman that is pining after her ex-lover who is supposed to arrive to pick up his things. As she waits for her ex to arrive, she begins to fall down a deep well of despair and longing.

Either way, ‘The Human Voice’ is a delight.”
