WB Launches 'The Matrix: Resurrections' Teaser Website Offering First Real Glimpse At New Sequel

Even though it was more than two decades ago, “The Matrix” used the internet in its marketing campaign in a pretty effective way, especially given that the internet was still in its relative infancy. And it appears Warner Bros. is ready to get the marketing machine rolling on “The Matrix: Resurrections” by once again utilizing the internet.

WB just launched a new website for “The Matrix: Resurrections,” and while it’s clearly just a way to hype up the new trailer that is dropping in a couple of days, fans of the franchise are going to get a little giddy clicking on either the red or blue pill. (Though, you should click both, no matter your preference.)

Each presenting a very different view of what is actually real. Oh, and you’re given quite a few teaser clips that will no doubt be in the trailer, showcasing the glorious return of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and others from the ‘Matrix’ crew.

Joining Reeves and Moss in the ‘Resurrections’ cast are Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (the “Aquaman” franchise), Jessica Henwick (TV’s “Iron Fist,” “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens”), Jonathan Groff (“Hamilton,” TV’s “Mindhunter”), Neil Patrick Harris (“Gone Girl”), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (TV’s “Quantico,”), Christina Ricci (TV’s “Escaping the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story,” “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles”), Telma Hopkins (TV’s “Dead to Me”), Eréndira Ibarra (TV series “Sense8,” “Ingobernable”), Toby Onwumere (TV’s “Empire”), Max Riemelt (TV series “Sense8”), Brian J.
