When you’re in a serious relationship, there are few things more nerve-wracking than meeting your partner’s parents. But a typical person doesn’t have to deal with the situation in “The Out-Laws,” where a guy’s future in-laws are notorious bank robbers.
As seen in the trailer for “The Out-Laws,” the film follows the story of a dorky bank manager who is meeting his fiancee’s parents for the first time, right before their wedding. Unfortunately for him, he finds out that the future in-laws are bank robbers and they’re using him for his access to a bank vault. But that’s just the beginning of the hijinks that follow in this new Netflix film from the production company led by Adam Sandler.
The cast for the comedy includes Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery, Blake Anderson, Lauren Lapkus, Laci Mosley, Ellen Barkin, and Pierce Brosnan. “The Out-Laws” is directed by Tyler Spindel, who is probably best known for his other collaborations with Adam Sandler’s production company, “The Wrong Missy” and “Father of the Year.”
“The Out-Laws” hits Netflix on July 7. You can watch the trailer below.
