Watch: Litchfield Welcomes New Blood In Latest Trailer For 'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4

Jenji Kohan‘s “Orange is the New Black” has been a massive hit for Netflix, and along with “House Of Cards,” is the show that established the streaming network as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to original programming. And heading into its fourth season, the series shows no signs of slowing down.

Much of the joy in watching the show, and the acclaim it has received, comes from its groundbreaking depiction of sexuality, race, and gender. “Orange is the New Black” brings humanity and dimension to its diverse set of cast members, casting off the clichés and creating a unique portrait of prison life. Although the quality has slightly diminished as the seasons have passed, the reason we keep going back is to watch show’s distinct mosaic unfold. It’s like a 21st century TV show with shades of the late, great Robert Altman.

Starring Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Michael J. Harney, Michelle Hurst, and Kate Mulgrew among many, many others, season 4 of “Orange Is The New Black” will premiere on June 17th with 13 new episodes. Watch the new trailer above.
