“You’re The Worst” didn’t have the strongest ratings when it premiered on FX last summer, but it wound up being the object of affection for those who decided to give it a chance. Our own Oliver Lyttelton is one such person who raved about the comedy last September, declaring it to be one of the best TV shows of that summer. Surely he, among the show’s other fans, were delighted when FX announced they’d be renewing “You’re the Worst” for a second season, moving it over to FXX, their sister network.

And as the latest trailer proves, despite the fact that the show’s lead characters (Jimmy and Gretchen) are now living together, that doesn’t mean they’re about to change their ways. Whether it’s excessive drinking, kinky sex, going to strip clubs or waking up on top of a Google car, season 2 promises to keep the party going. “You’re the Worst” will make its season premiere on September 9th. So, you have over a month to catch up, if you haven’t already.
