Even with big screen smash successes in 2014 with "The Lego Movie" and "22 Jump Street," Phil Lord and Chris Miller aren’t leaving the creative opportunities of television untapped. This spring they’re giving Will Forte a showcase role in "The Last Man On Earth," and the first teaser trailer is here.
And yes, the concept is as simple as the title: one man is left as the sole person on Earth. And in Forte’s hands, that means doing every crazy idea you’ve ever wanted to try with no fear of reprisal. It’s an amusing teaser for sure, but don’t think this one will be just a solo Forte show. January Jones and Kristen Schaal are part of the cast too, and that trio should prove to have an interesting dynamic.
