“The Wedding Banquet”
Director Andrew Ahn returns for his remake of the 1993 Ang Lee film, “The Wedding Banquet.” The film follows a gay man who makes a deal with his lesbian friend: a green-card marriage for him in exchange for in vitro fertilization treatments for her. The cast is superb, starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen, and Youn Yuh-Jung.

“Havoc”
Tom Hardy stars in the most recent action flick for Netflix, “Havoc.” Written and directed by Gareth Evans (“The Raid”), the film follows Hardy as Walker, a detective who must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son. Forest Whitaker, Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, and more star.

“The Accountant 2”
Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and J.K. Simmons reprise their roles in the sequel “The Accountant 2.” Directed by Gavin O’Connor and written by Bill Dubuque, the film once again follows Christian Wolff, who uses his talent and analytical mind to help find the culprit who murdered one of his old acquaintances with the assistance of his more violent brother, Brax.

“On Swift Horses”
Daniel Minahan (“Fellow Travelers”) directs the romantic drama “On Swift Horses” based on the novel by Shannon Pufahl. The film follows a young couple, Muriel and Lee, whose new life together is upended by the arrival of Lee’s brother, Julius and the secret past he carries with him. Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, Diego Calva, and Sasha Calle star.
