The jungle is expanding. Netflix has released the teaser trailer, first-look images, and release date for “The Gentlemen” Season 2, with Guy Ritchie’s crime series set to return globally on September 3, 2026 (read our season one review here).
The new season picks up one year after Eddie and Susie joined forces inside Bobby’s overseas criminal empire. As the pair look to expand the operation, Bobby’s decision-making grows increasingly reckless, forcing Eddie and Susie to decide whether to intervene or risk watching everything collapse. As Netflix’s logline puts it, “unfettered ambition never ends well.”
The first-look images bring back Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, and Vinnie Jones, while also offering a first glimpse at Lake Maggiore, where part of the new season is set. The series’ returning cast also includes Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Season 2 also brings several new players into Ritchie’s underworld. Previously announced additions include Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr., and TV host and broadcaster Maya Jama.
Clever, amusing, and light on its feet, “The Gentlemen” quickly became a major global performer for Netflix when Season 1 debuted in March 2024, reaching the streamer’s global Top 10 in more than 90 countries and hitting No. 1 in 75 countries. Between 2024 and 2025, the series generated 100 million views globally.
Ritchie created the series and writes alongside Matthew Read, with Ritchie and Eran Creevy directing Season 2. Executive producers include Ritchie, Will Gould, Read, Frith Tiplady, and Simon Crawford Collins for Moonage Pictures, as well as Ivan Atkinson. Laura Jackson and Max Keene produce. Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Miramax Television produce for Netflix.
“The Gentlemen” Season 2 consists of eight 60-minute episodes and launches September 3, 2026, on Netflix. Watch the teaser trailer below.
