Scientists playing God is not a new thing in the movies, nor are people coming back from the dead. So then you might wonder, what’s new in "The Lazarus Effect"? Beats me, but a brand new trailer is here for the low budget horror, and in case you haven’t learned from other horror movies: life and death is perhaps best not meddled with by humans.
Mark Duplass, Olivia Wilde, Donald Glover, Evan Peters, and Sarah Bolger star in this flick about a group of researchers whose rogue experiments manage to bring an animal back to life. But things take a deadlier turn when the experiment is tried on one of their own after a freak accident, and soon enough Olivia Wilde is crushing skulls and casting evil glances everywhere. It’s from the folks behind "The Purge," "Sinister," and "Insidious" if that helps (or hurts).
