Listen To Two Tracks From HBO's 'Fahrenheit 451' Soundtrack By '99 Homes' Composers

We are incredibly excited about the upcoming HBO film “Fahrenheit 451.” Based on the classic novel of the same name, the film stars Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon and looks to be one of the more interesting films to come out this summer, even though it won’t premiere on the big screen. In preparation for the film’s pending release, we are exclusively bringing two tracks from the soundtrack.

The music from “Fahrenheit 451” was written by Antony Partos and Matteo Zingales. The award-winning Austrailian musicians have various credits to their names. Zingales composed the music for feature films such as “The Hunter” and “Not Suitable for Children.” Partos was responsible for the music for the award-winning film “Animal Kingdom.” And together, the duo composed the music for the 2014 film “99 Homes,” starring Shannon and Andrew Garfield.

“Fahrenheit 451” is directed Ramin Bahrani, who directed “99 Homes,” as well as festival standouts “At Any Price” and “Chop Shop.” Joining Shannon and Jordan in the cast are Sofia Boutella, Lilly Singh, and Martin Donovan.

As you can hear from the two tracks, “Fahrenheit 451” and “Stay Vivid,” the duo added an industrial flavor to the music, which matches perfectly to the dark, futuristic feel of the film. The soundtrack is scheduled to release on May 18, right before the film debuts on HBO the following day.

Here’s the synopsis for the film, as well as the cover art for the upcoming soundtrack:

In a future society where books are banned and burned, a fireman begins to read in secret and discovers an underground rebellion committed to protecting literature.
