As mentioned, Armstrong is probably best known for his work on “Succession,” which ran for years on HBO. The series follows the Roy family, as they all scheme to take control of the family’s media conglomerate. “Succession” would go on to become a critical darling for HBO, earning a ton of awards, including 19 Emmys. Prior to his work on “Succession,” Armstrong wrote films such as “Four Lions” and “In the Loop.” The latter of which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Most recently, he worked on the English-language remake of “Force Majeure,” titled “Downhill.”

It’s unclear when we might see this new film arrive on HBO. However, it’s being reported that filming could take place before the end of the year and casting is currently underway.
