‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘Hamnet’ & ‘The Pitt’ Top 2026 Golden Globes Awards Winners

The Golden Globe Awards were handed out on Sunday evening in a ceremony hosted by the fantastic Nikki Glasser, but there were a few surprises. “One Battle After Another” took four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and “Hamnet” won two awards, including Best Motion Picture – Drama. On the television side, “Adolescence” took four, “The Studio” won two, and “The Pitt” took two Globes, including Best Television Series Drama.

Jessie Buckley took Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for “Hamnet” while Rose Byrne won Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.” Timothee Chalamet from“Marty Supreme” won Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, while Wagner Mourns snagged Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for “The Secret Agent.” “One Battle’s” Teyana Taylor won Best Supporting Actress while Stellan Skarsgard took Best Supporting Actor for “Sentimental Value.”

“One Battle After Another” won Original Screenplay and Best Director while “Sinners” took Original Score.

The Best Motion Picture – Not In The English Language went to “The Secret Agent”. while “KPop Demon Hunters” won Best Motion Picture – Animated and Best Original Song for “Golden.” “Sinners” won for Original Score.

Best Television Series – Comedy went to “The Studio” while Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, not surprisingly, went to “Adolescence.”

Lead Actress in a Television Series – Drama went Rhea Seehorn for “Pluribus” while Jean Smart took Lead Actress in a Television Series – Comedy for “Hacks.” Lead Actor in a Television Series – Drama went to Noah Wyle for “The Pitt” and Seth Rogen took Lead Actor in a Television Series – Comedy for “The Studio.” The Limited Series Actor and Actress honors went to Stephen Graham in “Adolescence” and Michelle Williams for “Dying for Sex,” respectively. The Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor awards in television went to Erin Doherty and Owen Cooper for “Adolescence.”

The inaugural Best Podcast award, an award no one was asking for, went to“Good Hang with Amy Poehler.” The Best Stand Up Performance, another award no one asked for, went to Wanda Sykes, er, Ricky Gervais.

The Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award went to “Sinners.”
