Adèle Exarchopoulos Joins Zoë Kravitz On ‘My Old Ass’ Director Megan Park’s Next Film At Apple

Director Megan Park‘s follow-up to her 2024 Sundance hit “My Old Ass” just added another big female star. Deadline reports that French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos will join the previously cast Zoë Kravitz on the upcoming Apple-backed film. No word on who Exarchopoulos will play in the film, but that’s because pretty much all parts of this one remain a mystery right now. It’s worth noting, however, that the film will be the actress’s first American studio lead role.

Park writes and directs the upcoming film, as she did on “My Old Ass.” LuckyChap produces the film with Apple Studios and FilmNation, with Tom Ackerley, Bronte Payne, and Kelly McRedmond overseeing for LuckyChap.

Exarchopoulous first broke out as co-lead opposite Léa Seydoux on Abdellatif Kechiche‘s 2013 Palme d’or winner “Blue Is The Warmest Color,” and has been a regular staple in French cinema ever since. Her stateside appeal extends only to the voice role of Ennui in Pixar‘s “Inside Out 2,” however. Upcoming roles for the actress include Jeanne Herry‘s “Garance,” in French theaters on September 23, and Christopher Honoré‘s “Orange-Flavoured Wedding,” out in France on December 9.

As for Kravitz, she stars next in “How To Rob A Bank,” in theaters on November 13.

Apple won the bidding war for Park’s sophomore feature back in April. As noted earlier, official plot details are under wraps, but it’s described as a quirky family comedy, so not dissimilar to the setup of “My Old Ass.”

Stay tuned for more details on this project as they arrive.
