Pitched as true crime mockumentary series, the show from co-creators and executive producers Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda cleverly pivoted from its “Who drew the dicks?” premise into a pretty observant look at the realities of high school life. It wasn’t anything particularly revolutionary, but it was accomplished with a lot of big laughs, and some surprising heart too. As for what a second season might yield, there’s no word yet, but the announcement trailer reveals that Peter Maldonado (Tyler Alvarez) is back, and looking at somebody who is “above the law.”

We can’t wait to see what that turns out to be. “American Vandal” returns in 2018, and we really hope we see Mr. Kraz again too….
