In honor of the first two episodes of “Awkward Family Photos” premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, we’re thrilled to offer our readers an exclusive look at two posters. I mean, you have to assume that the posters for a series such as this are going to be gold, right? And luckily, they really are. Accompanied by the tagline, “Every family is a little awkward,” the posters depict two of the famous photos that will surely make you happy you grew up in only a slightly dysfunctional family.

“Awkward Family Photos” takes the popular website/memes and brings them to life, following the families and their stories, as well as making them pose one more time for a portrait. If the photos don’t make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up from the cringe, just wait until you hear the real stories and family drama.

The series is co-written by Mike Bender and Doug Chernack (both of whom created the original ‘Awkward’ website), along with director William A. Kirkley.
