'Crossing Swords' Trailer: Hulu's Newest Series Stars Animated Cursing Peg People

In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic with movie theaters closed and summer festivals canceled left and right, audiences are hungrier now more than ever for any new content they can stream from the comfort of their own home — even if it is animated cursing peg people. Enter Hulu’s “Crossing Swords.” The show follows a young peasant named Patrick who lands a dream job as a squire at the royal castle. But once he begins life in the castle, he learns that the kingdom is full of sex, criminals, and charlatans. Just as Patrick eases into his new hectic life at the castle, his criminal siblings return to make his life a living hell.

“Crossing Swords” boasts quite the impressive cast led by Nicholas Hoult, Adam Pally, and Luke Evans. Tony Hale, Seth Green, Yvette Nicole Brown, Breckin Meyer, and Wendi McClendon-Covey also lend their voices to the show. “Crossing Swords” is created and written by “Robot Chicken” executive producers John Harvatine IV and Tom Root.
