'Dollface' Season 2 Trailer: Kat Dennings' Hulu Comedy Returns On February 11

While it may not have won over critics, Kat Dennings‘ lastest starring role in Hulu‘s “Dollface” certainly connected with audiences. Who may that be, outside fans of Dennings’ now-defunct “Two Broke Girls” sitcom? Most likely, the show’s target audience of young female twenty-somethings.

Glib visions of feminism may not be everyone’s cup of TV tea, but who knows? Maybe Hulu and Dennings have this generation’s “Sex In The City” on their hands, as season two of the series comes out next month. Last season saw Dennings’ Jules Wiley successfully reunite with her old girl-friends after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend. Now that the gang is back together, they look to each other as they transition into their thirties.

Here’s the show’s official synopsis:

Having successfully reunited with her friends, Jules must now balance keeping their group together as the women navigate work, love, and a deeper relationship with each of themselves.

Beyond Dennings, “Dollface” also stars Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther PovitskyJayson Blair, Corinne Foxx, Luke Cook, Chelsea Frei, and Lilly Singh are just some newcomers to the cast this season.  

The show also boasted an impressive batch of guest stars last season. Cameos included Margot Robbie, Macaulay Culkin, Camilla Belle, Joey Lawrence, Dave Coulier, and Este Haim; expect new faces to drop in through the show’s ten-episode season.
