Could you choose between a past love and a decades-long marriage? It’s a complex question that haunts one recently deceased woman in “Eternity.” Arriving at the junction puts her face-to-face with a dead spouse as well as the man she lost to war. The retrofuturistic setting itself offers another intriguing opportunity. A myriad of destinations all hope to sway the new arrivals into joining their spaces, with everything on offer from nightclubs to forest hideaways. Two very special reps oversee the tempestuous trio and quickly discover not everything in the afterlife goes according to plan. “Eternity” hails from director David Freyne, who co-wrote the screenplay with Pat Cunnane. The latter previously wrote for the series “Designated Survivor.”
