Targeted for an awards-season release towards the end of the year, this trailer follows first-look photos that were released last month, along with the first interview from the two main leads, talking up their car enthusiast characters and their working relationship on this ambitious project — “It transcends racing and becomes something that captures the spirit of people who are willing to risk everything for their love.” claims Bale.

Director James Mangold (“Logan,” “The Wolverine,” “Walk the Line”) also pitched in, detailing the technical side of things by excitedly commenting about cutting back on CGI reliance in favor of shooting the racing sequences as real as possible. “I wanted to see a racing film where the cars weren’t all digital creations [and] we were really out there on the track […] because it actually makes a physical difference when you see it on screen.”

Alongside these unsung car-tech wizards, “Ford V Ferrari” will also star Tracey Letts as Henry Ford II and Remo Girone as Mr Enzo Ferrari himself.

“Ford V Ferrari” hits US cinemas on November 15th, in 2D, IMAX 2D, and Dolby Cinema.
