Contest: Win A 5-Film John Hughes Blu-Ray Bundle Including 'Pretty In Pink,' 'Ferris Bueller' & More

Over the past decade, there has been some controversy that surrounds the ‘80s comedy classics from filmmaker John Hughes. Whether it’s the problematic characters and situations or those who felt Hughes wasn’t the right person to tell this brand of coming-of-age comedy, there has been quite a bit of discussion about his features. But even still, there’s no denying that the filmography of John Hughes is chock full of iconic films that have influenced and inspired a generation of people.

Earlier this week, Paramount released a 5-film Blu-ray collection of some of John Hughes’ best work. And in honor of the release, we’re thrilled to give our readers a chance to win their very own copy of the bundle that includes classics such as “Pretty in Pink,” “Some Kind of Wonderful,” “She’s Having a Baby,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” The release is timed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the aforementioned teen comedy, “Pretty in Pink.” Interestingly, all five of these films were released between the years of 1986 and 1988, showing just how impactful Hughes was over a relatively short period of time.

Also included in the Blu-ray release (which marks the first time that “Some Kind of Wonderful” and “She’s Having a Baby” have been available in the format) are a slew of extras including interviews with Hughs, behind-the-scenes docs, and all sorts of other goodies.
