The new season premieres globally on February 27, 2026, with the first episode, followed by new installments every Friday through May 1.

The 10-episode second season picks up with the fate of Monarch — and the world — hanging in the balance. Buried secrets reunite heroes and villains alike on Kong’s Skull Island, where a mythical Titan rises from the sea and a mysterious coastal village becomes ground zero for the next global crisis. The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the line between family, friend, and foe as humanity braces for another titan-level reckoning.

Season One of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” followed two siblings investigating their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Their search uncovered a web of conspiracies stretching back to the 1950s and the story of Army officer Lee Shaw (played across decades by Kurt and Wyatt Russell). The series jumped across timelines to reveal how humanity’s fragile grasp on control keeps unraveling in the face of ancient, god-like creatures.

Season Two expands that mythology and brings the saga full circle. Developed by Chris Black and Matt Shakman, the series is produced by Legendary Television, with executive producers Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Jen Roskind, Andrew Colville, and Lawrence Trilling, who also directs four episodes. Black returns as showrunner, with Toho Co., Ltd. continuing its partnership with Legendary — the same collaboration that fueled the Monsterverse film franchise.

That cinematic universe includes “Godzilla” (2014), “Kong: Skull Island” (2017), “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” (2019), “Godzilla vs. Kong” (2021), and this year’s record-breaking “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” — the Monsterverse’s highest-grossing chapter to date. The next film, “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova,” is already set for 2027, proving that Legendary’s monster mythos continues to grow across both screens.

“Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” Season Two premieres globally on Apple TV on February 27, 2026.
