At this point in the summer movie season, it might feel like we’ve seen pretty much everything from all the big titles on the way. However, always one to keep a bit of mystery around his films, Christopher Nolan‘s “Dunkirk” is one of the biggest movies on the way, and it has shown off the least. So, we’ll take what we can get, which in this case, is a new tension building teaser and some posters.
Famous faces and smaller names Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Fionn Whitehead, Aneurin Barnard, Harry Styles, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan, and Tom Glynn-Carneys make up the ensemble for this movie, which finds Nolan using a triptych storytelling approach to bring this epic WWII saga to the big screen. And it’s certainly going to look fantastic, with the film shot on 70mm, it will be presented in the format in select locations — you’ll want to track those screenings down.
“Dunkirk” opens on July 21st.
