‘Office Romance’ Trailer: Jennifer Lopez & Brett Goldstein Break Company Policy In Netflix’s Raunchy Rom-Com

Jennifer Lopez plays an airline CEO who falls for Brett Goldstein’s new lawyer in Netflix’s summer romantic comedy.

Rom-coms have been part of Jennifer Lopez’s screen persona for decades, but “Office Romance” gives her a workplace twist: power, policy, and a secret relationship inside the kind of corporate structure designed to keep those things apart.

Netflix has released the trailer for the new romantic comedy, which pairs Lopez with Brett Goldstein as two workaholics who stop treating romance like a liability and start breaking their own rules. Lopez stars as Jackie Cruz, a powerful airline CEO, while Goldstein plays Daniel Blanchflower, the company’s newest lawyer. The problem, naturally, is that their relationship is not exactly HR-approved.

The film was written by Goldstein and Joe Kelly, with Ol Parker directing. Parker is no stranger to broad, glossy crowd-pleasers, having previously directed “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” and “Ticket to Paradise,” which makes “Office Romance” a pretty clean fit for Netflix’s summer rom-com lane.

The supporting cast is also stacked: Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, and Edward James Olmos all co-star, with Olmos reuniting with Lopez after playing her father in “Selena.” Here, he once again plays her onscreen father, Captain Jack Cruz.

Goldstein has been moving steadily beyond the Roy Kent shadow of “Ted Lasso,” co-creating “Shrinking,” starring opposite Imogen Poots in “All of You,” and now co-writing and co-leading a Lopez vehicle for Netflix. Lopez, meanwhile, is back in a mode she helped define in the early-2000s studio rom-com era, only with a slightly more adult, workplace-comedy edge this time.

Producers include Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina, Goldstein, and Kelly. Pamela Thur and Courtney Baxter executive produce.

“Office Romance” premieres on Netflix June 5, 2026. Watch the trailer below.
