Olga Kurylenko Warns Everyone To “Take This Seriously” After Testing Positive For Coronavirus

As silly as it may seem, especially given the huge death toll that keeps growing each and every day, many people in the United States didn’t take this coronavirus pandemic seriously until Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, both tested positive. After that, you saw social media erupt with people worried about Hanks and his family, especially considering over the decades, the actor has become one of the most beloved faces in films. But he’s not the only famous person that has tested positive, as actress Olga Kurylenko recently revealed.

In a recent Instagram post, Kurylenko confirmed that she has also tested positive for COVID-19, aka coronavirus. And in her post, she talks about how she’s been ill for a while now, and she implores anyone with those symptoms to take the pandemic seriously.

She wrote, “Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”

Kurylenko is probably best known for her role in the James Bond film, “Quantum of Solace.” She’s also had roles in “Oblivion,” “Hitman,” “The Death of Stalin,” and “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.” It’s unclear if her illness was caught before she spread it around or not. She does have a number of projects in development.

Obviously, Kurylenko isn’t going to be the last actor to contract coronavirus. With the highly contagious nature of the illness, it’s more than likely that many celebrities will find themselves testing positive in the days to come. Clearly, this is the motivation behind the recent stoppages of just about every major film and TV project in production around the world.
