Each year, the Sundance Film Festival offers plenty of movies that have the chance to truly surprise and “Walking Out” could be one of them. The film is the latest effort from filmmakers Alex and Andrew J. Smith, the duo behind “Winter In The Blood,” and their latest effort is a wintry thriller with an intriguing cast.
Matt Bomer, Josh Wiggins, Bill Pullman, Alex Neustaedter, and Lily Gladstone (who just landed on our list of 20 Best Breakthrough Performances Of 2016 for her work in “Certain Women“) star in the movie about a father and son who must fight to survive. Here’s the synopsis:
A father and son struggle to connect on any level until a brutal encounter with a predator in the heart of the wilderness leaves them both seriously injured. If they are to survive, the boy must carry his father to safety.
The Sundance Film Festival runs from January 19-29, 2017.
